Recreation in Wamego
The Wamego Country Club golf course was originally designed by famed architect Chuck Trout and opened as a nine-hole course in 1920. The new nine-holes added to the course were designed by local architect Eric Langvardt. The par 70, 18-hole golf course is nestled among the rolling hills of Wamego, Kansas.
The course has a traditional layout similar to those you would find throughout the Midwestern United States. Among its features are classic tree-lined fairways, slightly elevated greens and large greenside grass bunkers.
Our clubhouse facility is available to both members and the general public for private functions. The space is perfect for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, anniversary parties, retirement parties, special luncheons, corporate meetings, holiday parties and banquets. Relive your round on our patio deck with your favorite beverage as you look out onto the golf course and enjoy the view.
