We are working towards moving to the next phase of our Street Project and have a few updates.
First, Wednesday, February 14th water will be turned off for residents shown on the map below. The estimated time for this turn-off is from 8am-1pm. As we are updating the infrastructure in Wamego it is important to note that we try to be as accurate as possible when informing the public but due to the scale of this project, there have been a few unexpected situations come up. We appreciate your patience during this project and are eager to have new, high-quality, dependable infrastructure when the project wraps up.
Additionally, Thursday, February 15th the City of Wamego will have crews taking out the marked trees on Chestnut Street from 6th to 8th Street. The larger trees will be removed at a later date in February that is still to be determined.
