• Recognition - The Chamber/Mainstreet's membership plaque signifies your commitment to continuing tradition of fair and honest business dealings in Wamego...display it proudly.  Membership entitles you to a FREE subscription to the Chamber/Mainstreet Newsletter, the annual Membership Directory and our Web page.  Each year outstanding businesses and individuals are recognized for their contributions at the Annual Meeting.

• Promotion of Your Business and the Business Community - We are the community "sales force".  We answer thousands of calls and letters requesting information about Wamego.  The Chamber/Mainstreet ist he only public relation firm responsible for the public opinion of our community.

• Economic Development - As a member you are supporting our work to bring in new payrolls by encouraging expansion of existing business and to attract new businesses.  Expand your own business with assistance from our Design Committee or apply for an Incentive Without Walls loan (rules do apply).
• Involvement - Everyone has a special interest in one or more aspects of the quality of life here.  When you sign up for the Chamber/Mainstreet, sign up for a committee.  If you don't have the time, we will still be asking for your input through our membership surveys and you can let us know of your concerns.
