Ag Appreciation Night
This event began 50+ years ago to thank and show appreciation to our local farmers and ranchers who have continually supported Wamego businesses. For decades, the impact of agricultural producers on the local economy has been tremendous, as it has enabled so many of our local businesses to be successful over the years. Since its inception, Ag Appreciation night holds the mission to bring area ag producers and businesses together and provide an atmosphere in which we can thank our local farmers and ranchers for the impact they continue to have on our businesses and community overall. We appreciate our member sponsors for their extra effort in thanking these individuals throughout the evening for their support and impact in our community.
In order to sponsor Ag Appreciation Night, a business must be in good-standing with the Chamber of Commerce and must indicate sponsorship no later than January 1 each year through the Total Resource Campaign (membership/sponsorship drive) in order to be included on the invitation. As a single business sponsor ($60), your name is listed on the official invitation as a sponsor and you will receive 2 tickets to the event. Additional tickets can be purchased for $10 by sponsors. A multi-business sponsor ($75) can have more than one business listed as a sponsor and also receives 2 tickets to the event.
This event hosts area farmers and ranchers for FREE the night of the event, including food and live entertainment.
Access to the event is only granted via showing an official ticket the night of the event as a sponsor, or, being listed on the local farmer/rancher list put together by area implement dealers. Should you wish to be put on the farmer/rancher list in the future, please contact the Chamber for more information.
